Book the new BMW 7 Series now through JB CarConcept: fully electric as i7.

BMW presents the new electric i7 as a high-end luxury sedan and a trailblazer for the models with combustion engines that will follow later. Measuring in at just under 5.40 m in length, the new 7 Series follows the "L versions" produced earlier. Shorter 7s are no longer planned. So, there's plenty of space for electric performance, multisensory entertainment, unforgettable driving experiences and, once again, driving pleasure. We are now offering the BMW i7 in the xDrive 60 version.

Battle of the concepts

While Mercedes relies on a platform developed specifically for electric vehicles for its EQS, BMW is taking a different approach with the i7. Its design will be offered both as an electric version and with combustion engines. What are the pros and cons of this? Which concept will have the edge in the market? These are exciting questions for intensive tests and comparative drives.

The ultimate in comfort without sacrificing any driving dynamics

The cockpit is dominated by two large displays. They are aligned towards the driver with a design that is slightly curved, something that BMW has already seen in instruments with analog technology in the past. The dimensions of the hyper screens offered by the competitor from Swabia are indeed not matched. The comfort experience, however, is second to none: fine materials, sophisticated user interfaces with pushbuttons and touch fields, abundant space including a lounge seat on the right rear. All of this is complemented by BMW's supreme, sensitive power delivery through the two electric motors and adaptive air suspension for driving dynamics on any road surface.

Does the i7 set new standards in the luxury segment?

The new BMW i7 continues to make an impressive mark on the 7 Series history, even with electric drive. Yet how it compares with other luxury sedans such as the Audi A8, its combustion engine sisters, the Mercedes S-Class, the EQS or the American competition remains to be analyzed.
