Volvo XC40 Pure Electric – book now at JB CarConcept
Back from its first customer test and now available for you at JB CarConcept: the Volvo XC40 Pure Electric, the first all-electric compact SUV from Sweden.
For comparison tests, car clinics and competition analyses, the purely electric SUV is an exciting vehicle, as it is also available as a plug-in hybrid with a combustion engine. Furthermore, according to Volvo, there are highlights such as the off-road mode that matches the all-wheel drive, Android software vehicle control, or ample power with two engines and the 78 kWh battery.
Volvo's brand core includes not just safety but also a special focus on sustainability. The XC 40 Recharge P8 AWD – to give it its complete name – uses sustainable materials such as nubuck, wool and plastic recycled from PET bottles. Only time will tell whether consumers will accept this in combination with high purchase costs.
