Emeya R - the luxury electric saloon from Lotus now available for testing
Race car DNA now also in the Emeya R electric saloon from Lotus: with the sporty SUV Eletre, the Anglo-Chinese sports car manufacturer has already proven that it can achieve top results with an electric drive.
Its sophisticated chassis technology clearly fits the bill: drive with three electric motors, torque vectoring to increase driving dynamics, dual-chamber air suspension with adaptive dampers, carbon brake system. It is therefore ideally equipped for tests and comparative drives with sporty competitors such as the Porsche Taycan Turbo-S, Audi e-tron, Polestar 5 and Tesla Model S Plaid.
800-volt technology for ultra-fast charging
The available power of the three electric motors, the high weight and the unusual driving performance for electric vehicles do not allow for top ranges, even with a 102 kWh battery.The Emeya R counteracts this with its 800-volt architecture and ultra-fast charging. Over 350 kW charging power is possible with the corresponding DC Super Chargers.
