Model Y Performance "Made in Germany" – what is the advantage?
We already made the Tesla Model Y available for your test drives in the middle of 2020 at JB CarConcept. After the Long Range Version 2021 the Performance version is now also ready for you. It is manufactured in Grünheide in Brandenburg and is therefore really "Made in Germany".
The placement as an electric SUV for broad sections of the population, the operating concept via 15" touch screen and the ambiance are by now comparable with the Long Range version with the exception of updates already delivered. The drive layout with dual motor, chassis and Performance braking system is designed for the higher top speeds of 250 km/h and brute acceleration (3.7 seconds to 100 km/h).
Particularly interesting with Model Y: The market competitors cover a wide range with VW ID.4 and ID.5, Audi Q4 e-tron, BMW iX3, Hyundai Ionic 5, Mercedes EQA and EQB and Skoda Enyaq. Even Power versions such as ID.5 GTX, Q4 50 e-tron and Enyaq iV are available.
Tests and comparisons of the manufacturing and processing quality should be revealing. Because – as already said – the Model Y Performance rolls from German assembly lines to its purchasers.
