Hyundai IONIQ 5 – the Korean car which has just been introduced to the market can crown itself with a feature that so far was only available in the Porsche Taycan and Audi e-tron GT: the high voltage 800 volt technology instead of the usual 400 volt systems. The battery of the Hyundai IONIQ 5 can thus be recharged with up to 220 kW - when correspondingly powerful fast charging stations are available. This means that it only takes 5 minutes to recharge the energy for 100 kilometers – comparable with refueling gasoline or diesel vehicles.
Ford Mustang Mach-E – "untamed, electric". An electric variant of the legendary US muscle car? Obviously not, because the Ford Motor Company is launching the Mach-E on the market as its first fully electrical SUV: with four doors, power tailgate, additional storage space in the front and a dashboard design that seems like a Tesla copy with an extra large screen in portrait format.
The top model of the Q4 series - technically related to its group siblings VW ID.4 and Skoda Enyaq – lines up as a typical Audi in the premium class. Audi logically focuses on particularly luxurious details such as the alternative start mode, head-up display and augmented reality. Expectations are rightly high as to how consumers will react.
The new Škoda Enyaq iV looks familiar somehow. That's right – a typical Škoda, only now as an electric car with a completely new drive concept. From the outside, the Enyaq iV fits seamlessly into Škoda's current design philosophy, just like the Octavia and Kamiq models.
Back from its first customer test and now available for you at JB CarConcept: the Volvo XC40 Pure Electric, the first all-electric compact SUV from Sweden.
Almost five years ago, JB CarConcept caused a sensation by making the first mass produced hydrogen-powered saloon available in Germany: the Toyota Mirai. For comparison and test drives, for competitive analysis, for research projects and for market research here with us on site in the new test centre The lab.
Whenever Mercedes launches a new S-Class, new standards are set. Auto, Motor und Sport identified the W223 as a "problem for perfection" after initial test drives. Mercedes itself describes its new flagship as a car that is focused on the essentials: Unique technologies for comfort and safety and luxurious materials are to provide a "driving experience like never before". Find out now in comparison tests, consumer surveys and brand research whether the highest standards are fulfilled, how the new S-Class feels and what it really can do.
A crossover between SUV and coupe – that's how Seat describes the new Cupra Formentor. But strong looks and a powerful engine are not the only unusual features of this car. Initially, Cupra models were particularly sporty Seat offshoots of the Leon, Leon Sportstourer or Ateca. With the Formentor, the Spanish subsidiary of the VW Group is elevating the Cupra and turning it into an independent brand. Exciting for comparisons, consumer perceptions and brand research.
